Jesus is our story.
In fact, Jesus is our only story. He is the Lord of our lives and central in all we do. This means we strive to imitate His message, His mission, and His methods.
Our intention is to help people know Jesus. We believe that Jesus has called us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20). We are a diverse community that genuinely cares about the needs of all people from all generations and walks of life. We want to help people know Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him. We do this by opening the Scriptures and opening our lives with those who God puts in our path.
We believe in maturing disciples. We strive to imitate the discipleship we see in Jesus’ relationships (John 13) and to put into practice the 50+ “one another” scriptures we see in the New Testament. We do this through family groups (small groups of 10-15) and “one another” relationships designed to equip and encourage every disciple to go on to maturity (Hebrews 5:14-6:3).
We believe in mobilizing disciples of Jesus. Jesus appointed his disciples (Mark 3:14) “…that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach…”. (Luke 10:1-2) “After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them…He told them, ‘the harvest is plentiful’…Go! I am sending you out…”
Compelled by His love, we are a spiritual family that makes, matures, and mobilizes disciples of Jesus.
“We are so grateful for our church family here in Lexington. We love this city and this community and we are honored to serve. Please let us know if there is any way we can help you on your spiritual journey.”
